Emily Sheila was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Her love for music began at a young age as she started performing in various Miami venues since the age of 13. Through word of mouth and her ever growing fan-base, her name became a staple as one of South Florida's most talented singer/songwriters. As mentioned in the Miami Herald, Emily Sheila was described as a "mix between Fiona Apple and Adele with a folky twist".
Since then, Emily has been featured on multiple radio shows and performed on the live television show, "Breakfast Contigo Morning Show" featuring her song "Florida". In 2014 she was awarded "Artist of the Generation".
Emily holds a bachelor's degree of Music, Voice Specialization from Barry University. Her unique style of voice, ukulele, and guitar provides sweet melodies for your ears and heart. She will have you dancing on your toes and her melodies will float through your head for days.
