Anoraak first appeared in 2008 with the underground classic Nightdrive With You. Several LPs/EP's and a whole bunch of remixes later (Neon Indian, Mika, College, Metronomy, Junkie XL...) he is today a reference in the synthwave / retrowave and indie-dance genres.

After years on the road worldwide behind the DJ desks or front stage singing and playing his music live, he'll be back June 2nd 2017 with a new EP Black Gold Sun, including the synthpop song Evolve featuring Danish singer Lydmor. The cover is designed by Alexander 'Zonders' Burkhart, godfather of retro inspired artworks (College, Valerie Collective, Discodust, Miami Horror, and many more).

Black Gold Sun is the balance point between synthwave and synthpop, two worlds wherein Anoraak has always loved to navigate, and is a logical follow-up to his previous opus Figure, which includes the acclaimed track We Lost feat. Slow Shiver, premiered on major electronic music media Dancing Astronaut and playlisted by KCRW's LA dj Raul Campos, Goldroom, Satin Jackets, Spotify Mexico among others.

The Figure music video was recently premiered by the trend-setter site Nowness, and received a lot of support, including major french media site Clique TV or MTV Asia.

Anoraak's new live show is a solo act, surfing smartly between a vocal / instrumental performance and a modern electronic live set built for the dancefloor.

The Ford Theatre Reunion is coming to Portland, Oregon as part of their Summer 2017 “We Have Only Left Earth” album release tour. The neo-carnival rock n' roll group, based out of Lexington, KY produce a sound that harkens back to a by-gone era of gypsy caravans and rail-riding hobos. This, married with blistering progressive rock technicality and heavy punk, is all brought together under multiple vocalists that are a study of compliment and contrast. It all manifests as an auditory spectacle that is both well-timed and well-executed. The result is compellingly jarring, featuring narrative lyrics and theatrically-matched music all wrapped up in a deliriously raucous stage show. FTR feverishly pulls you to your feet and drives you to dance, thrash, and shout - all in all, undoubtedly one of the most bizarre and fascinating acts likely to be seen in Portland.

The band’s new album, “We Have Only Left Earth” (CDs and Downloads available June 9 at fordtheatrereunion.bandcamp.com) is much more than a continuation of FTRs previous releases; it is a total reimagining.  Now in their ninth year of performing and recording, the sound has matured and developed into something darker and at the same time poppier and more lyrically driven.  The record’s complex themes of sin and space, hell and the void, give the diverse album a sense of continuity.  All the anxiety, fear, heartache, and rapture are woven seamlessly into the complex, yet undeniably catchy, fabric of the music.  It is a strange and beautiful ride that will leave you looking at the stars and wondering what have we become?

Ford Theatre Reunion will be performing at Dante's at 350 SW Burnside, Portland.

Not only will Thunderpussy make you question your life choices, they will teach you life lessons like, "A hard man is good to find," and "Booty is in the eye of the beholder." They may be rock n roll's new diamond in the muff, but they’re not selling sex like a Marlboro commercial-- They are literally whipping you with it, like 80’s Madonna, or dry humping you you like a tranced-out Prince. Powerful, sultry vocals tear at your chest while guitar riffs tower over you like a leather clad dominatrix... Salty tears stream down your cheeks in a pleasureful pain as the bass and drums lock in tight to move you, groove you, and wash over you in a hot sweaty bath of sweet, sweet, blues-rock soul... Give in. Get up. Welcome to Club Pussy.

PLAYBOY MANBABY is the contradictory soundtrack to the contemporary life experience. Grimly sarcastic yet youthfully nihilistic music that seems to crash into things with a semi-coherent deliberation that can only be generated by a group of frail but over-caffeinated and eternally anxious young adults. Playboy Manbaby is the theme song to the sentiment "what the fuck am I doing with my life?" Indecisive in both message and genre but never lacking in sheer intensity.

A ticket to PLAYBOY MANBABY gets the ticket holder into SINFERNO CABARET following immediately after this show.

Gifted with a gritty and genuine voice that at once feels familiar to fans of rock and country music, Idaho-born songwriter, singer, and guitarist Jeff Crosby has been writing songs, grinding out shows, and sharing his unique perspective of Americana throughout the United States and beyond for the better part of the past 10 years.

Alongside him now to form “The Refugees”, brother Andy Crosby (bass) and Will Prescott (drums) and Dave Manion (pedal steel/ guitar) have created a force of honest, provocative rock and roll that is quickly gathering both a fervent fan base and critical acclaim wherever they go.

Two songs (Oh Love, Oh Lord and This Old Town) from the first official release featuring The Refugees, 2013’s  Silent Conversations, were featured on the FX hit series Sons of Anarchy, and now in 2014 the band has released their first full-length LP titled All Nighter. An 11-track album released significantly on July 4th, 2014 and recorded in both Los Angeles and Idaho, All Nighter is a powerful and cohesive record that deals with love, loss, and a new perspective of the American Dream.  As renowned publication No Depression puts it, “The story is there, the musicality is there, the songs are just great.”

Crosby now adds another notch to his musical belt with Waking Days. The 10 song LP was recorded in Los Angeles at Bedrock Studios and in Nashville and was produced by John Gilbertson and engineered in Nashville by Rob Matson. Featuring his band The Refugees--brother Andy Crosby (bass), Will Prescott (drums) and Dave Manion (pedal steel/guitar), Crosby also adds some stellar guest musicians. His guest crew consisted of Brian Whelan on pedal steel (Dwight Yoakam), Marshall Vore on drums (Ryan Adams/Olin & The Moon), Fran Breem on Drums (The Waterboys/Lucinda Williams), Ben Waligoske on guitar (Springdale Quartet) and Adrian Engfer on standup bass (Grant Farm).

Waking Days blends the sounds of Americana; folk, and 70’s inspired psychedelic rock. “I’m in a much different head space musically since the last record,” said Crosby, “This record has more soundscapes and has stretched out the atmospheric tones that are floating around the songs.”
